What is Ghosts of the Grand?

Ghosts of the Grand is a haunted takeover of the Grand Theatre in Salem, OR. Guests will venture on an approximately 25-minute tour traversing the Main Stage, the Initiation Room, and finally, the Basement below.

Is this Event Child-Friendly?

Ghosts of the Grand is not child-friendly due to adult content. Teens over the age of 13 will be allowed entry and we will have disclaimers available during ticket sales. Additionally, we are looking into creating a child-friendly weekend on October 11&12 and will update as we have more information.

Where will the Speakeasy be?

Oh come on, you think we’d tell you that easily? We promise we’ll drop plenty of clues to help you find our hidden bar in the upcoming months.

Will there be Stairs?

Ghosts of the Grand will utilize four separate floors of The Grand Theatre (including the basement) and guests will need to walk up and down stairs as part of the tour while getting from scene to scene. There are small elevators if needed for special circumstances. We ask that guests be prepared to walk up and down stairs if able. We also won’t have any jump scares while on the stairs to keep everyone safe.

Will you be ADA Compliant?

We will have a special path that will be ADA Compliant. Due to the size of the small hallways and elevators, the event will be wheelchair accessible but may not be able to accommodate large motorized scooters.
